Consider the following: "If a juror feels that the statute involved in any criminal offence is unfair, or that it infringes upon the defendant's natural God-given unalienable or Constitutional rights, then it is his duty to affirm that the offending statute is really no law at all and that the violation of it is no crime at all for no one is bound to obey an unjust law." (Emphases added.)U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Harlan F. Stone,1941-1946. This relates directly to the TV licensing authority issue, because with the Trial by Jury operating correctly, the TV License would have been abolished years ago, along with numerous unjust statutes and regulations. Thousands of unjust prosecutions against innocent people all over the country would not be taking place. The licensing authority would not now be persecuting individuals without televisions. Forcing people to finance the BBC would have been stopped years ago — or rather, knowing that juries of ordinary people would not unanimously agree to enforce such an obviously unfair extortionate system, it would never have been put in place. WHAT IS FIJA ? FIJA stands for Fully Informed Jury Association. We are a non-profitmaking educational organisation. We are an international association of jury-rights activists and groups. Our project is also known as "FIJA", i.e. the Fully Informed Jury Amendment. As law, FIJA would require trial judges to resume their former practice of informing and instructing jurors to judge both the law and the facts in every civil, criminal and fiscal court case.FCDAE-FIJA teach people their constitutionally-established rights. For example, the Common Law Trial by Jury Justice System gives power to ordinary people as jurors to decide to annul the prosecution or enforcement of any law whenever the juror considers that conviction or punishment of the accused would be unfair. Did you know that ? This is part of our constitution. Yet, many people are ignorant of this vital legal protection against injustices inflicted by the state.The pernicious calumny that England (or Britain) has "no constitution," is promulgated today by individuals of parliament and judiciary, to obscure their routine violation of the 35 times ratified Constitution by which they are bound. Nowadays, Trial by Jury is precluded by judges’ illegal intervention to forbid jurors from judging on the justice or otherwise of law. From this vile seed despotism is now extant and visibly growing. You might have experienced injustices yourself, or know friends or family members who have. You might be justifiably angry and not know how to seek justice and obtain redress. The number of citizens who feel they have been "hard-done-by" is growing daily, because in every rank of the government apparatus, state employees abuse the powers bestowed on them and make use of "bully-boy" tactics. Yet, if people but knew their own Constitution, they would know that it intentionally provides the means by which they protect themselves from injustice. In order to enable governments of all political backgrounds to pass money-motivated special-interest legislation (which would be considered unfair and emphatically annulled by Citizen-Jurors) our Constitution is concealed by governments and our Jury Rights and Duty are deliberately not taught by the state education system. But, jury power is indispensable. Without it, every kind of injustice becomes enforceable and tyranny unstoppable. Without the Trial by Jurors to guard the individual and thus the entire population, the human predisposition for tyranny is unleashed: real power, subtracted from citizen-juries, devolves to every level of the state apparatus. From traffic warden, town clerk, or junior patrolman, to the justices, to the chief executive, all ranks are ceaselessly exposed to carnal and financial temptations: of utilising bullying, bribery, coercion and fear, over ordinary citizens, to flagitious advantage. Without exception, the resulting corruption is witnessed in (and definitive of) every tyranny. This is taking place in all the former bastions of democracy. Juror’s Rights must be restored. Many citizens, righteously indignant with government, suddenly find the key to their liberation by learning from our campaign about Restoration of the correct form of Trial by Jury. While real criminals do not receive appropriate retributive sentences, or go free, innocent citizens in their thousands are abused, fined and incarcerated. What is the purpose of law in a democracy, if not to protect the citizen ? Increasingly, citizens all over the Western world are being persecuted by governments and their paid officials, for normal actions and everyday activities which are not crimes. This is only the case because government has illegally prevented the Constitutional Common Law Trial by Jury Justice System from functioning correctly.
